Our forums at sledmass.com have slowed to a crawl. The main forum page loads fine but loading individual forums, replying and PM crawl. It can take up to a minute to load an individual topic or PM.

The site is hosted on WP Engine and everything else is quick. As part of the trouble shooting process, I updated to WP3.8 and updated all SP components. No improvements.

It's run fine in the past, any assistance would be welcome.

Are you saying this is sudden? If it suddenly started to happen what happened prior to that to change things?

And you might want to check with the WP Engine guys because we have had users experience problems with their hosting in the past. They tend to be somewhat dictatorial at times.
