Hi,
On http://fotoloco.fr/forum/ I have plenty of forums which do not appear.
For instance in the 2nd group, I have a forum called Canon which does not appear. The forum is not disabled to locked and the user permissions are exactly the same as the other ones.
I tried creating a new forum and it also does not appear - except the one I created in the 1st group.
There are about 10 forums which are not displayed.: 6 or 7 on the 2nd group and 3 in the 3rd group.
These are standard forums - not sub forums. They are all empty.

Some more testing. As I add a new forum, another one disappears... I seem to be limited to 14?

Quite odd. I can assure you there is no internal limit to the number of forums in simple press - we dont care how many you have... We do have some users that show hundreds of forums on the group view page...
no caching plugins, right?
There is a WP / Server limitation that can be hit on some configurations... This normally affects comments on wp posts or posts in a forum topic - have not seen it affect number of forums, but worth a try... in your wp-config.php file, try adding this line:
ini_set('pcre.backtrack_limit', 1000000000000);
to see if the php limitation is affecting you...
for the record, as a guest, I see 15 forums on your site..

No cache plugins currently installed, but in the process of installing one.
Copied your suggested line in the root wp-config.php with absolutely no effect.
Strange you see 15 forums. I only see 14, whether I am logged in as a guest or a member.
- 6 in general
- 7 in equipment
- 1 in post production
In the administration I have:
- 6 in general
- 11 in equipment
- 4 in post-production
I must point out that I am disappointed with the level of support received here. I am a big purchased of extensions, themes and plugins and have always received excellent and precise support. Here I get quick answers, but not much I can do with these answers. My site is about to be launched and I am just waiting for 2 bugs on your forum integration to be fixed so I'm really frustrated.

looks like a miscount... seeing 14 right now... sorry for miscount...
didnt think the pcre limit would affect forums, but worth a shot...
we have not yet identified any bugs in simple press... I could be stubborn and claim the pm issue you are seeing is a problem with your wp theme...
and this one too has never before been seen... I am still puzzled as to how you expect a solution for something no one else is experiencing... could it still be an sp bug? absolutely, but data is needed to trouble shoot and that data must come from the only place that is experiencing the issue...
any chance you can provide a temp wp admin account with sp admin caps to troubleshoot this? may also require ftp access in order to dump out some debug data, but can start with just the access first...

My developer seemed to have been able to fix this. As I'm paying him by the hour I have not asked how 
you may close this.
