So far - I am sorry to say - I have found no reason whatsoever why this particular piece of text is not displaying as it should. It is clearly not a global problem with apostrophes. That specific line of text is also not malformed within the PO file as far as I can tell. I have replaced it several times.

Also - we just use the same 'gettext' routines that are built into WordPress! So I am extremely puzzled. I am going to have to write this up as a bug and see if I can delve into the hidden depths of gettext itself.

Fir information - 'gettext' is a third party and very well established library of functions that handle these translations at display time.

A good stopgap measure I agree, But somewhere along the line we still need to try and determine what the issue is and why it does not affect all text with an apostrophe. That's the puzzle 🙂 and I am no nearer solving it at the moment!
