Support Forum
Well I am new to using this forum. My problem is I downloaded the forum and it created the forum page for me. Well when I link to the page.. Nothing shows up? I have added Group and forum but nothing shows up? Did I miss something?
I downloaded newest version, then installed, then activated plugin, created forums, linked to page, went to page, nothing showed up? In those steps pretty much exactly. Do I need to add something to the forum page?
I would recommend you go to the Simple:Press admin area Integration and look at the Page and Permalink settings and make sure they look correct. Then go to the Storage Locations page and see if all are checked green and blue, no red.
If any red icons then fix them.
Afterwards go to the Current permalink page shown in the Page and Permalink settings and see what is there.
When you say it shows nothing now it makes me think that all you are seeing is a blank page, not even your blog header or anything. Is that what you mean?
A link to your site's forum would help so we cold see what it actually displays and check for errors.
Well I actually deactivated the forum for now, but when I had it up everything seemed to be in working order. I had no warnings on the install and everything was in the green. The permalinks were set up fine as well and the page was created, but should the page have any content on it? Because the page was actually blank when I looked at in the administration view? If you need me to I will reactivate the forum and check again.
If you look at the page in Wordpress's page edit it will be blank. That's fine. What do you see when you actually view the page that is created?
I see the normal blog header and everything is fine but it really just looks like I made a page with no content. It has the comments form and everything just no content on the page. It even shows the head of the page. I believe there is a conflict with my template. I am using a rockettheme wordpress template. Have you ever heard of anyone using a rockettheme template and using this forum?
Many themes try and do weird and wonderful but non-standard things. On the forum admin > integration > page and permalink panel try the two options at the bottom ('multiple' and 'loop'). Turn on one - try it. Turn it off and try tghe other. Even truy them both. See if any combination works to overcome the empty page.
