It's not SP as such either. Or it would be like that for everyone. SP determines urls from WordPress. If you look at sites generally you will see that the minte a age is loaded 9other than the start root page`0 then the urls end with a slash. Yours do not. Look at any forum topics - first page. Look at them here. Different. Maybe this has something to do with it. SP is not being sent a url with the closing slash.
Now I am not saying we could not deal with this eventuality but the fact is it should not happen in the first place. One thing you should perhaps do is to update your WP permalinks in the WP Admin and then immediately update the forum permalinks again.
This was done previously. I just check WP permalinks again and everything looks correct. I even clicked on the update forum permalinks option again too. Issue still exists.
after that my suspicions start to wander back to this https scenario. Did you ever actually set up the wp constant directives in the wp config file? For example.
I believe so. What do I look for in the wp-config file?
the wp-config.php file is in your wordpress root directory...
and subtle reminder, but this week has been bad for us with Andy and I away... things should start returning to normal this weekend...

I don't recall the actual wp-config constant settings but a quick search in the WP codex will find the page that lists them all.
For the record - and it probably will not help but there things are worth trying - I did suggest you update the WP permalinks, not just look at them! Followed by updating forum permalinks. Updating them ensures they necessary rules are rebuilt.

By the way - I should have added this before but this is the line of code in the standard SP URL building function that adds the page number to a topic url:
if ($pageid > 1) $url.= '/page-'.$pageid;
Note the slash before the word 'page'. What has to be looked for is what is taking it out again.

Is this a problem? I've never moved it. Where it is is its stock location.

I'm sorry for not understanding your comment here but I believe that I did change both the WP and Forum permalinks. Did you not see that in my forum backend? This was done over a week ago. Why are you making claims that this hasn't been done?
I sent all SP admins here logins for both WP and FTP.
I made no claims. You said in the previous post that you 'looked at the WP permalinks' not that you updated them.
I have not visited the site since i made that post and to be honest i really do not know what you expect anyone to do if they do visit. I included the code above that outputs the correct URL - if something is undoing that prior to loading then it is not SP I am afraid. As I have also said before - if it was SP then it would happen to everyone.
I, and I suspect my colleagues, have no idea what is happening on your website. It is quite unique to you and your environment. We have made as many suggestions as we can think of but the solution, I am 99% sire , lies elsewhere - maybe in the theme or another plugin or even some sort of server setting.

RE: YellowSwordfish
So what are you saying? I'm SOL?
I didn't send you the login credentials for fun. I sent them in an effort to see if you could help me find the source of the issue. I didn't expect you to disregard my request for help, not bother logging in, then tell me that all I was doing to assume that the permalinks were changed was simply just look at them. I feel insulted by this.
Yes, to repeat this again, the permalinks were infact changed on both WP and Forum ends. This did nothing.
And what do I do with the code you provided in post #35? Do I include it somewhere and if so, where?
And I'm still interested to hear about an answer to my question in post #36.
Thanks...
disregard?? you have different definition than us... we have all logged in and edited posts... we also told you that several of the team was on vacation or business travel this week with limited access and that it may take until the weekend to get fully engaged...
as to post 35, he wasnt asking you to enter anything... its the code that generates the url... and notice it has a slash at the end... the point was that something else is removing it...
What is different now than when we edited posts?
a while back, I asked to switch to default wp theme and see if working better... can you refresh my memory please... and if still issue, what happens if you disable all other plugins? start working? trying to narrow down what the conflict might be...
