Good WP theme to work with SP?

I run a website that has SP forum as a main feature, but I wish to develop the site further to be more than just a forum, but a portal site for the niche I am in.

I am looking for a WordPress theme that can showcase the SP forum prominently on the homepage, yet have other elements to display the other aspects of the site I am developing.

Currently, my site at http://ehangar.com already has most of the elements in place, but I am not quite satisfied with the layout as my current theme has quite a few display restrictions.

I would be happy to consider other WP themes and am asking for SP forum users to share their experience or suggest WP themes that can fulfill my requirements as stated above.

If you care to also share your website URL here with me that is similar to my design requirements, I would be most obliged.

The Showcase section unfortunately has only a few SP sites.

I can start the ball rolling by saying that we use the Genesis framework here and while I was not initially much if a fan I have certainly become one. Might be wroth you looking at. And one of the main things I am most happy about is that it does abide to WordPress standards and API which is most important but so often these days not the case.
