Hi Guys..
Trying to figure out Google +1.
So i put my profile id in my profile > identities > 100716089605542832060. However when clicking on any post in my forums, the user id is doubled with a / in the middle which does load my +1 OK in FF. But returns a 404 on my Android browser.
I'm looking around at different sites for a profile widget and see the url should be: plus.google.com/100716089605542832060. While the URL generated by SP is: plus.google.com/u/100716089605542832060/100716089605542832060. So I'm a little bit confused which URL is supposed to be correct?
The shorter URL also returns a 404 on the Android browser. And to think it's a Google phone running Google code and apps!

you want just the number... thats what you have here and it works fine... I see your google plus profile just fine...
are you talking here or on your site?

which is correct... I dont see any double slashing here on yours or mine...
but you only want the number if in the profile entry... we put the 'u' in ourselves...

But in my Google Plus permalink there is 0/ after 'u'.

That's one of the new ID's Google is rolling out, i was offered one yesterday.
I do believe all you have to put in SP profile G+ identity is GiacomoPapasidero. Did you try it?

I see what's happening. SP is somehow putting the ID in twice.
Used your ID in my SP forum to test it. I'm not a programmer but I'm thinking Steve or Andy coded that line for numbers. SP is bonking the new G+ identities. See attached screen grab.

It's something the SP guys will have to code. Nothing we can do for now.
I just noticed that SP is doubling the G+ ID numbers but that works. Just the new name format it don't like.
I'm sure the SP guys will promptly come up with a fix.
