I think the first task is to determine that this is actually the problem.

I would, say, deactivate the font-resize and birthday plugins that I believe you have active and then see if things load Ok in IE. If they do then you could try this CSS aggregation plugin (http://yacobi.info/) to see if that helps things...

Disabling the plugins made no change at all.

The link you provided is dead.-http://yacobi.info/

If that made no change then it most probably isn't the cause. But try the plugin anyway just in case. It works on my test site by the way.

You can find it on the Wp plugin repository and it is called 'CSS And Script File Aggregation'.

This plugin didn't seem to come up in the Plugins search field from my WP Admin dashboard, and it appears this may be why:

I will install it nonetheless and try it out, but I hope that it doesn't cause more damage to my site then it will help with this issues.

It doesn't damage anything. If it doesn't help then just deactivate and remove it.

Ok, the CSS plugin is running and I see no changes with the forum on IE. Here is a screenshot of the plugin settings page.

Sorry, will be back Friday and can take a closer look.

Aahh.. I just opened it up in another pc running IE, and that seemed to work..  This temporary fix seems to be working fine so provided I don't discover anything new, I'm a happy camper and can wait for the optimization at code level from you guys when you get to it.smile
