The top poster stats in the page footer does not include the forum admins and moderators, their stats are shown in their specific sections below.
I wonder if there are settings to have admins and moderators in the same top posters stats ? If it's not, any recommandation on how to make this work ?

Currently you would need to change core code (the SQL query itself) but I can see no reason why we couldn't put a filter on the query which would allow it to be changed safely. We will talk it over here.

Well, I successfully modified sp_get_top_poster_stats function in sp-db-statistics.php file to fix my problem, but I'll loose these modifications on next SP upgrade. I believe including post counts for admin and moderators make sense, they are also forum members after all 
I hope future SP updates could either include such a modification (with a switch in the admin if needed) or allow modifications on Core system.

I opened a ticket to see about the filter. That's the best and safest solution.
