Hi,
My hosting provider has blocked my website due to the following reason:
Simple Press 9.44% 2.1776 seconds average
They think it's using too much CPU resources and advised me to disable it. Is there anything I have configured wrongly and any way to reduce CPU consumption?

shared hosting? hopefully not wp engine.. 
how is 9.4% high???
there are several topics here on little things that can be done - you might search..
but a couple... use the combined css and js cache on forum - options - global settings...
if using gravatars, make sure you are using the gravatar cache plugin for sp...
dont show too many forums on group view, too many topics on forum view or too many posts on topic views...
dont have the auto update on forum - options - global settings set to run too often (300 seconds or more is recommended)...
they should be able to pinpoint what is running slow...
