currently, we just output a list of topics/posts that match the search criteria

Yes, I am talking about the forum search results. The Codex already has this. Type in the search and the results whether in the title or body is highlighted. I would like to know if I can add that function to the search results in my forum.

Hi John. The codex search results you are seeing are search results of WP pages... Its actually a WP plugin called Relevanssi. So you could add it to your site for WP searches.
Unfortunately, it does know about or work with forum posts. As fate would have it, we reached out to the author last night to see if we could extend it to work with SP. So we shall see...
so we are thinking about doing something for forum search results, but right now, they are not highlighted...
