I am not aware that anything has changed in this area. Can you be more descriptive on the exact 'latest posts' display you are referring to?

so what has changed? wp update? sp? plugins or theme?
are you sure it was working before? did you change sp theme or overlay??? reason I ask is because something is adding other tooltips on the page... a plugin or wp theme...
its using a custom jquery ui css and changing the background of the tooltips to white... which is why you cant see the text... the stacked theme with cool blue overlay uses a white text... so you get white on white text... our stacked theme with the cool blue overlay, does not use a white background...
you have couple options... find out what is changing the tooltips popup background... or alter the sp theme css color for the tooltip text...
to do the latter, go to forum - themes - custom css and add the following:
.ttip {
color: #000000;
}
feel free to change the color to whatever you want...
