Can you please tell me if there is a way of switching off the "online" indicator when I use my forum - I'd like to be able to use it incognito.

If you have enabled hiding online status in forum - options - member settings then each user, admins included can set in their options in their sp profile, to hide their online status...

I have enabled "hiding online status in forum – options – member settings". Where do I need to go to change my options in my sp profile to hide my online status?

Do you not have a button linked to your Simple:Press profile at the top of the forum - next to the login/out button?

OK. Got it. Thanks - "Hide Online Status" is now shown as green. I clicked on "update Global options" and I ve reloaded the page, but at the bottom of the page, next to "Currently Online:" it still says my name....is this normal?

keep in mind, as an Admin, you will always see who is online - including yourself... but other users wont see you...
