how can i allow for larger attachment uploads?
larger than what???
you set the limits on forum - components - uploads... if the limits you set there exceed the php limits on your server, you will need to make modifications to our php.ini to allow larger uploads... that admin panel and the popup help give you the php vars to change in the php.ini
but lets start with what you want to allow and if you have set that in our settings...
