How can use custom smileys?

How can change smileys or install new custom smileys.

When I upload a new one, it is not activated. How can I do this?

It says I should click on “open control” to the right… but there is no such link or button.

Each smiley should look like the following screen shot:

The control in question is the up/down arrow on the right? Are you not seeing this control? If not then there may be a problem loading admin images  such as folder/file permissions.

Yes, I can see it. But it did not happen anything when I click on it.

I say “did” because I just tried another browser (Firefox) and it works.

In Chrome it does not work.

Odd – we have no other reports of that behaviour and it seems to be fine in all browsers in our test and development systems. Might be worth closing Chrome down and reloading in case it was running short on resources.
