upload them with the file uploader plugin for SP... use the media uploader to embed them in posts...

These are all pretty big videos. I host them on AmazonS3. But I also need them to be mobile friendly for my paying members. That's why I currently use Easy Video Player.
Can I embed my existing videos hosted elsewhere? Will they be mobile friendly if I use the simple press embedder?
If not, is there a way to do what I am trying to do? I have a private and paid membership community and I offer regular videos. Currently I host the videos in wordpres pages but i would prefer to merge everything into my forum. How I might accomplish this?
Well, we have no limitations on size of upload... your php settings will, but you can make them quite big...
If the amazon s3 supports oembed, which I doubt, you could just paste in the url to the video...
what kind of embed code are you using? as long as not an iframe, it should work... but personally, still better to upload media via the file uploader...

Ah - that's not the toolbar we supply by default so - assuming you have not changed it I would assume you have some sort of WordPress TinyMCE extension plugin installed which - while intended for the back-end/write post use has been written in such a way that it shows up when tinyMCE is used on the front end as well.
So - would this be the case?

you could also check forum - components - tinymce editor and see if you have the media button in one of the two rows..

Hi,
I don't have any editor related plugins installed, and I don't see any related options under components. I have attached a screenshot of what options I see.
I know the media options used to be there but when I checked, per the instructions in this post, they were gone. I haven't really done anything to the site in a while other than update everything. Any ideas?
imagemedia in your buttons should be image, media
