1) not sure how to provide more... the .po (and .mo) file we provide on our translation site http://glotpress.simple-press.com do indeed include those strings... and they seem to have proper localization in place...
2) oh, I see now... hmmm... gonna have to think and consult Andy on this one... those are actually the tinymce js translations... not sure how we can add to those, even though they are technically our strings...
3) ah, yes... different string than you originally posted... and it is what I mentioned... wp is rejecting the email... so on forum - options - email settings, what do you have listed in the report post email list?

On issue 1 you said:
There was no translation in there, so I’ve translated the ones I need myself. I translated five strings, and the three I mentioned above did not show.
Just to be sure. After you added the translations to the PO file did you then regenerate the required MO file?

Hello, Mr. Papa,
Regarding email setting, I've just figured out what was causing the problem. When i turned off "Use this email setting" in option>email settings, users are able to send report. Therefore, I guess there's a problem with my email setting.
For my Wordpress site, I use the plugin "WP-MAIL-SMTP" to send email via my gmail account instead Wordpress' mail() function. In this case, do I still need to use the email setting of simple-press forum? If yes, please let me know what is the proper setting for this. For the "Email domain name:" I've tried (1) gmail.com (2)www.boardgamelove.com.tw (3) boardgamelove.com.tw and (4) smtp.gmail.com. All of the above gave the error message mentioned before.
Hello, Yellow Swordfish,
Yes, I did regenerate the .mo file and uploaded them.
Thanks.
Jean
No, you do not have to enable sp email stuff... it just adds stuff to the wp sending... there are three settings for the address settings... you listed one, I assume for the domain name... but the other parts need to be right too.. and make up a valid email address...

Hello,
I've figured out part of the Buddypress translation "issue". Except for "Forum Options", the other ones actually worked. These two, "%1$s started the topic %2$s in the forum %3$s" and "%1$s posted in the topic %2$s in the forum %3$s", work for topics/posts posted AFTER the translations are done. The ones that were already showing on the website don't get translated.
This is fine for me because I need to delete all the test comments anyways.
Cheers,
Jean
That just means that buddypress stores the strings untranslated... which actually makes sense from its perspective... good find!
