yes we did get the PM. Is that all of the settings? I thought there were more. I will pass them over to Steve to look at.
We have many users using Janrain and very few forum posts on the subject. Actually if you go to our demo site (link on the right sidebar) you will find we use it ourselves there. We don't use it here because it is a membership site so logins are controlled by a different system.
I will ask Steve to look at the settings to see if he can spot anything...

OK - I am confused. I am trying to compare your settings with ours at rpxnow.com and I can't see anything that compares to your screen dumps! Where did you go to find that page?
One question though. You have *.paddler.co.nz listed which is the only domain there. This denotes a sub-domain. That should just be paddler.co.nz. ANd why localhost? That's not right.

Yes there is more - but with the Basic (free) account you don't get to change much - I have left all the other stuff as default.

I know - I seen that. My problem seems to relate to my SimplPress configuration or how SImplePress interact with my RPX.
I just set up another SEPARATE website WITHOUT SimplPress quickly and installed the JanRain's native plugin. All I had to do was to type in my key I set up for the SImplPresss Site (I did not have to change the domain as I used a wilddcard), and enable the options in General Tab that allows anyone to register. It worked fine.
Well from my perspective I would prefer to solve the problem but I know you are impatient to get going so this should work...
The only caveat I put on that is that is that WP sends 'messages' (actions they are called) when a new user is registered and it is that 'message' that triggers SP to create the forum data for the new user. If the authors of this plugin have done things properly - and used the WP API then this should work with this plugin as well. if they haven't then...

I agree - I have held off on using al alternate plugin for provider login - the problem still persist.
Please let me know if you need any other information to resolve the issue. I will be online for the next 4 hours.
a little behind, but did you ever correct the domain whitelist?
and the other question would be is json working on your site? the latest version of the wp plugin may not require curl anymore... cant remember if ours did but had problem at one time with that...
