How do I move my forums and content over from buddypress to simplepress. please bear in mind I have no technical experience. I bought this membership thinking your import plugin would automatically transfer my content so I can get rid of buddypress. are there any easy steps I could use to do this?

the import plugin is available on our download page... but it assumes you use bbpress forum for that with buddypress...
install it as a wp plugin, then you will have a new import panel under the simple press admin forums... directions and options can be found on that panel...

Delting the plugin will not set it back to empty.
Use Uninstall on the WordPress plugin list panel against SP and then just install again. This will remove all data.

I don't want to remove data from simplepress. I already created forums and topics, if I uninstall I will lose that data. I just want to move my bbpress forums and topics over to simple press.. I'm so confused.

afraid thats not possible... the importer requires a fresh install... it cannot import another 3rd party forum into an existing forum...
