Here I am again!
Is it a simple way to show how many posts that has been posted the last 24 hours, or this week or something like that? I don't have the fully overview on all the plugins and template tags and such, so I thought I could ask before I started making my own sql queries. I have tested the "Online Right Now" plugin, but that doesnt' do the thing I want.
I would also like to send some newsletters to our members, maybe even using an autoresponder for sequential mails to new members. I know this have nothing to do with simple:press, but maybe you knew about some good plugins or solutions to this matter
yes, its going to be a custom query...
but I would recommend using either the topic list class or the post list class... each has a base query that you can alter for your needs... then you can just use the existing new post template file in the theme for display to handle links, paging, etc...
you might also take a look at some of the template functions in the template tags plugin... they do exactly what I say and could very easily be modified to do what you want... for example, recent post, newest topics, latest posts, hot topics, unanswered post...
Oh and maybe you can just use one directly... Todays Posts... http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ays-posts/
It will be posts since midnight....
but if that doesnt work, should be easy for you to figure out how to modify it for 24 hours...
