I don't really get it...

Perhaps we can just step back to basics for a moment. This Codex article describes exactly what we do on this site and what many, many other Simple:Press users do who also use WishList. It is basic and simple. Note that the very last paragraph is now out of date as that functionality has been added as you will know from the Mapping admin panel.

I am just suggesting at the moment that you double-check each point in the article to ensure that is exactly how you have things set up.
