Here's my scenario. I have created a user group whose members will have access to a forum. I want to invite people by email to register on my site and participate in that forum. How can I best automate the process?
I intend on emailing invitations, but I'd like to avoid having to follow up, find out what login name the person created, then add that login name to the user group. Is there an easier way that would allow only the desired invitation email recipients to automatically join the user group?

Hey Brad,
Unfortunately there is currently no 'invite' system in place, however you might be able to achieve this kind of setup with a membership plugin. Being as SP users are basically just WP users, and you can map users from WP roles to SP usergroups - I don't see why you wouldn't be able to put this together, it would just require other WP plugins.
