Hi
I've just installed SP on my wordpress site - when a new user registers on the forum, the page that opens is the Wordpress profile page....most of my users are not very computer savvy....its not obvious to know how to get from the WP profile page to the actual forum itself...... is there a way of making it so that after registration the page that opens is just the regular forum page?

forum - components - login and registration... you can change the login redirect as well as the register redirect...
but to be clear, users dont get to the wp profile after registering... they have to log in first... at least with stock wp...
you can also look on forum - options - global setting at the block admin functionality... it can keep all of your users out of the admin all together...

I have changed the default page, it should be redirecting to http://www.electricsense.com/forum/ see screenshot, but its redirecting to the wordpress profile page. What must I do?

Are you using any other plugins to do with registration/login etc...?

I've got 33 active plugins installed. I've looked through the list, I can't see any registration/login plugins, but then I don't really know what to look for?

Hang on, hang on.
How can the registration process redirect to the users profile page? When a user first registers with WordPress there is no profile to redirect to. WordPress does, be default, redriect users to their profile when they log in to the site - but not when they register.
So - if you site is redirecting upon a new user registering then this has to be as a result of a plugin. And only you know what plugins you have installed and activated.
