How to Completely Remove from Mutlisite?

If I needed to completely remove (and eventually re-install) SP from my WP multi-site network for trouble-shooting, how do I go about removing all traces of SP network-wide?

(It's all under development so there's no SP data that needs to be saved.)

I know there's an uninstall function within each site's SP forum administration, but I'm unsure how to completely remove SP as a network plugin.

For example, if each site has an active copy of SP and my multisite network looks like this:

mynetwork.com

   site1.mynetwork.com

   site2.mynetwork.com

   site3.mynetwork.com

Would I run the uninstall function on site3, site2, site1, and then deactivate the network SP plugin?

Thanks!

I'm still learning Multi-Site, but if I removed SP from sites 3, 2, and finally site1, with site1 being the one true physical site in the mutli-site network, would the SP uninstall function in the site1 forum remove the last of the SP files, directories, and database entries altogether in the same fashion as it would from a stand-alone site?

Thanks!

is site 1 the main site?

afraid its been a while myself since I have completely removed simple press from multisite, but yes, I would uniinstall all the network sites first, then do an uninstall from the main site which should also remove all the files... it will ask you about some of them to make sure...

or course, if you run into problems, we can walk you through a complete manual uninstall too..
