I have noticed under User Groups --> Manage User Groups --> Members Not Belonging To Any Usergroup that there are 13 users in Members With No Memberships. How did they get there? How do I get rid of them?

I have email confirmation on my site for those that register, is it possible that these users simply haven't clicked on the link to finish registration ie registration spammers, and this is why they are ending up in the Members With No Memberships area and being counted as a member under the Member Stats on the forum?

That is the most likely explanation. And quite possibly created by spam bots as well.
You could try our spam registration plugin perhaps.

Is that the one under Components --> Login and Registration --> User Registration and then turn on Use spam tool on registration form? I'm going to assume as users only have two days to confirm their email that if they don't and the link is no longer available that the member count on forum should become reduced as well?

No - I was referring to one of our plugins available on our download page.

Whether a member will be removed from the SP members count really depends on the tool doing the removing. If it uses the proper WP api to remove users then yes - it should.

Oh, okay I'll go to your download page then, and I'll keep an eye on the member count and see what happens over the next 2-3 days then. Thanks, I appreciate your help.
