Support Forum
Does anyone know of a way to hide the message board from the general public? I created one for a site, but it's only intended for private usage. However, I am already getting requests from people registering for the forum...even when it clearly states that it's for private use only. I do have an approval process in place, but this does not stop people from registering.
If there is a way to hide it, then I guess I would have to personally register everyone who the site is intended for (~ 75 users or so), correct? If I am able to hide it, do I set up another login way for the users to get into the site then? If so, how is this done?
I am open for any other suggestions or ideas.
Thanks in advance!
Simplest way is turn off registrations on your site on wp - settings - general. Then no one can register.
And then turn off guest access to the forums. Only registered users will have access.

Registrations and logins are two different things. Any user with account can login. Yes, you would have to create user accounts. This is done on the wp - users - add user admin panel.
