Support Forum
Hi,
I had to permanantly delete the wordpress page called "Forum" due to theme issues.
Then I re-created it - same name, same path.
Simple press is not loading anymore.
When going to http://appgo2market.com/forum , I can an empy page with the title forum.
I also tried short code [Forum].
Doesn't work.
Could you please advise, how can I bring it back to life ?
Thanks,
Ronen.

I would be most interested to know what is meant by this? Why should the WP theme care about a specific page title?

Yes - go to the forum admin > Integration > Page and Permalink panel:
- Select the new page from the drop down list at the top.
- Update the panel using the button at the very bottom of the form.
- Click on the Update Forum Permalink button half way down to finosh.

Regarding your question, Thesis theme has a bug.
One can't change the page template if the page was created before thesis was installed.
The workaround is to delete old pages and re-create them again.
It's not about the title, it's about creating a page after thesis was installed and not before.
I wanted to change the look and remove the right extra column, letting the forum be on the whole page and couldn't "save" the page template unless I re-created it.
interesting... seems like that bug would affect a whole ton of users...
but at least a simple, harmless workaround since no data stored on the page... just a few clicks... thanks for the info!
and glad we could help...
