How to subscribe to a thread without adding a reply

Other than subscribing to an entire area of the forum, is there a way for a user subscribe to a single thread or particular thread without adding a reply and choosing that option in the reply?

yes, when viewing the topic, at the bottom, below all the replies is a subscribe button... just click on it...

Ok, that was my fault. I had commented out the footer stats section but went too far up and included the subscribe button. That's fixed. Sorry to trouble you about that!
