Hi Guys.. smile

How do i turn off the "unread and recently updated topics" display after logging off?

I thought it was a plugin, but didn't see one listed for it.

Thanks!

Are you just meaning you only want to show this to members...?

That might be a better option, than removing it all together.

It's a PITA trying to size the sidebar so it matches the forum. I had it set pretty well then after logging out the page got a lot longer.

If that's all you want to do then you can wrap the function (spGroupView.php template) like so:

if ( $spThisUser->member ) {
    sp_RecentPostList('show=10', __sp('Unread and recently updated topics'));
}

which should do the trick.

Sorry... locate the call to the function sp_RecentPostList() - it's near the bottom of the template. And replace it with the code clack above.

As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)
