Hi all,
in sp admin there's an option to let users subscribe entire forums besides single topics.
I checked that option, but I cannot understand how users can do it. Is there a button or something other that I'm not seeing?

Users can set up their forum level subscriptions via their SP profile.

I'm glad it's normal not having "subscribe" button at the bottom of each forum.
I was afraid there was some error in my sp.
Thinking about it... users see the "subscribe" button at the bottom of each topic, I think it's normal they aspect to see it each forums also... don't you think?

I was kind of expecting this question as a follow-up!
I am going to have to defer to Mr Papa on this one to explain the philosophy behind this design decision.

lol Sword, I sait that just for chipchat, but now I'm interested in Mr Papa Design Philosophy! 
back to my problem. I found the profile tab where checking the forums I'd like to subscribe, but the "save settings" button does not work. and is the only one not working in the profile section.

Is any message displayed below the form when you click on the update button? You may need to scroll down a bit to get it all on the screen to see...

nope, actually the subscription tab is the only one that is not working, maybe because I'm using a wp admin account?

No the account is not a problem.
Can you try an update and then look at the admin > toolbox > error log to see if anything relevant got reported. You may have other, unrelated entries of course.
