I have users complaining the site is unusable in IE8 running on XP.  Haver you tested on this browser?  Are there any known issues or should it work just fine?

'Unusable' is a very emotive word?
Yes - we have lots of users who use IE8 and it has been tested.
So why don't you explain what 'unusable' really means?

yeah, what does usable mean? I have no problems using IE 8 though a few elements dont look as good due to lack of IE support of standards... but the sp theme your are using can be adjusted for more crisp IE 8 display...
