One of my users is reporting problems loading my website in IE8. I have tried it myself and it keeps reloading the homepage until it shows this url res://ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm#digitalt.tv,http://digitalt.tv/
If I disable Simple Press Forum plugin it goes away.
How do I fix this?

If you perform a google search then you will find hundreds of items regarding this - including this article: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/.....amedll.htm. There is also some suggestions here and there that you may have something in your site header that is the cause.
I doubt it is SP specific. Lots of users still using the buggy and still-not-really-standard IE8 and we have no other such reports.

Yes I have tracked it down to the Q2W3 Fixed Widget plugin. When both this and Simple Press is active I get the IE8 error. If I disable one of them it works so something bad must happen when they both are active. Guess I will just deactivate the Q2W3 Fixed Widget plugin then.
