Hi

Is there any way I could import from a Web Wiz forum database using the import tool? I see it isn't offered as standard but is there any way it can be added to the tool? Worst case scenario would be if I could just import the users database.

As you say - not currently supported. It may - possibly - be a fairly easy task to write the script for it. I would need an actual database to find that out as I have not encountered this application before. I am willing to take a look if you like so at least could assess the task.

Hi, many thanks for your reply!

I've been in touch with the support team for our current forum and they have told me that the database is a SQL server database and not MySQL. Is this still possible if I had a database output?

Well even we were able to put a script together (still unknown), we wouldn't be able to grab the source data from SQL Server. But there might be an export facility available to export the db to mySQL...
