My main website is http://www.theblackpigsblog.com on which I have installed simplepress.

I have also installed Wordpress & simplepress at http://www.theblackpigsblog.com/plus

1)Is it possible to import members from the main site and if so how ?

2)If 1 is possible can the login in the second site be over-ridden so they don't have to login again ?i

Users belong to your WordPress site not to Simple:Press. Simple:Press is just a WordPress plugin.

We DO add a user table called 'sfmembers' to hold specific forum user data but basically we are using the WordPress users and usermeta tables.

I am not aware of any simple method of tying together two disparate WordPress installs but it might be worth a search through the wp plugin repository or some of the guru's out there on the internet. if you find a good way of doing to i would quite like to hear about it actually...

Oh yes - export and import is no problem at all. You don't even really need a plugin for that with basic mySQL knowledge. I was talking about dual and cross-site logins. That's where things get difficult...
