In the process of installing mentions... available themes?

In looking at my available themes to create a custom theme (still not exactly sure why i need/want to create a custom theme to get mentions running), I noticed that I only have one available theme usable.

Are there more themes that I can grab at my "silver" level, or do I buy those?

Any themes currently available can be found via our download page.

Why do you need to create a custom theme to add mentions? Is it because you will be manually adding the template tags? It is not a requirement to create custom theme. It is merely a safeguard for you to ensure that any changes you make to your theme are not wiped out if and when you upgrade the theme. But it is entirely optional.
