Our members have been complaining about the inaccuracy of posting time stamps. I just posted at 5:24pm PT, and though my profile is set to Los Angeles time, the forum tells me that my post was published at 9:24am PT.
???
Any suggestions for how to fix this?

check your wp time setting on wp - settings - general... make sure its not set to one of the bogus utc +/- some value (which are non standard)... if so, pick a city in the list where your server is located in same timezone...
also, you need to make sure you and users set your actual timezone in your sp - profile - options - display options...

aha! Thank you -- the WP setting was, indeed, a UTC + setting. I've changed it to Los Angeles.
Will also let users know they can edit their own timezone (now that profiles have been fixed, thanks to you guys!)
