Hi guys,

I just downloaded Simple-Press and am attempting to install it.  This is on a hosted Windows machine using IIS, which I'm not too familiar with (I have hosting on linux also)  It goes through the 10 steps, but gives me this error:

YOU WILL NEED TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS TO ALLOW SIMPLE:PRESS TO WORK CORRECTLY

[Storage location part 1 creation failed] - You will need to manually create a required a folder named

[Resources part 1 file failed to copy] - You will need to manually copy and extract the file '/simple-press/sp-startup/install/sp-resources-install-part1.zip' to the new folder

[Resources part 2 file failed to copy] - You will need to manually copy and extract the file '/simple-press/sp-startup/install/sp-resources-install-part2.zip' to the new folder

[Resources part 2 file failed to unzip] - You will need to manually unzip the file 'sp-resources-install-part1.zip' in the new folder

[Resources part 2 file failed to unzip] - You will need to manually unzip the file 'sp-resources-install-part2.zip' in the new folder

I'm really not sure what _folder_ it is referring to.  I find the zip files in the install folder, but don't know where it needs them unzipped to.  I'm pretty sure this is a write permission issue, but without the exact folder name I can't really get this installed properly.

I can access the admin panel, but certain things such as icons, images and themes seem to be missing so the install is definitely not complete.

Best regards,

your server permissions are such that simple press cannot do it by itself... hence the error message for you to do it manually...

so you will want to extract part 1 into wp-contents/sp-resources... same for part2 zip... please create the sp-resources directory yourself before extracting the 2 zips... if you want, you can extract the zips on your computer and upload via ftp after creating the sp-resources directory...
