hey how do i download spanish language? i downloaded the .PO and .MO for front end but cant get it to work and put it in the language folder but nothing? or am i downloading it all wrong? does anyone have working files that they have gotten on there site to work? becuase i have my whole site translated to spanish with the wordpress es_ES language

Okay so i read it and the thing is that the spanish language is not validated correct? For the front end which is what appears on the forum which says members, register, log in, latest post on the forum correct? Or does it have to be the theme that needs to be edited?? I am using the default theme. how do i validate the spanish language and if i add more to it can i validate it my self? i need it for my users they only know spanish thanx!

yes- most of that will come from your SP theme.

Okay so i finished validating the default theme in Spanish! It came out great! only thing is that letters with spanish letters like say ñ arent working how can i fix that? its within the posts and topics it appears like this polÃtica y religión it has to appear like this política y religión

Are you referring to topic titles, post content etc? If so that has nothing to do with SP translations (which are for labels, button text, messages etc.)
The most usual cause of your data being like this is a conflict between the encoding in your database and the encoding being used by your site. My guess would be that your database needs to be set to utf-8 or perhaps your site (wp-config.php) or meybe both.
I would discuss this with your host.
