Support Forum
Hello.
I am stuck and need help. I installed the forum and activated the plugin. I went to go to see the page and it won't display. It does show up as a page in the page list.
I changed the name to community and the slug and also changed it in the Integration section, still not displaying. I did play with some of the options on the Integration page, still nothing.
I uninstalled it, cleared caches and reinstalled - same thing.
I am not getting a 404 error just a problem with the site. Please help I really need this up and running so I can integrate with my wishlist member site.
I am not very technical so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
well is loading for me...
on second thought, thats probably as guest vice you... because you are caching the wp page the forum is on:
<!-- Performance optimized by W3 Total Cache. Learn more: http://www.w3-edge.com/wordpre.....s-plugins/
Minified using disk
Page Caching using disk: enhanced

you cannot cache the wp page the forum is on... its dynamic in nature and handles its own internal caching... for w3tc, for EACJ caching type in use, you must tell it not to cache the wp page the forum is on.. and dont minify the forum page - w3tc minification has a problem with js if its already been minified which sp js has been...

Thank you so much! I deactivated Total Cache and it works beautifully. I tried to find a place to put a url exception but there isn't one. What is the best way to cache the rest of my site while avoiding the forum?
Any suggestions would be helpful. Again, very technologically inept.
Any help is appreciated!
I don't have a copy anywhere at the moment to look at but there is a section on every cache type admin panel where you can set exclusions - i.e., pages not to be cached. You need to use this. As far as I recall you can usually just put the forum slug in there - the default of which is /forum unless you have changed that.
