I decided to upgrade to 5.. finished the installation.. got it all setup..
i notice the members profile section is not working. had to revert back to members editing in wordpress side, not forum side.
login button is not working.. you can log out, but log in they cannot via the login button on the forum.
i noticed its not dropping the login menu down like on this site here.
Any suggestions..

please provide more info... upgraded from what version of sp to 5.0? and what version of wp?
do you have a link so we can see what is going on?

I noticed the i cannot add topic forum posts.. I press the start a new topic button and nothing happens.. i had the same problem with the login button..
I am wondering if it is a javascript issue or has something to do with the them and there not working together.

Ok, i just changed the them for a little test and i can now see the post new topic window appear..
it seems something in my theme is blocking it..

js conflict most likely... you have a bunch of js errors on page load...
your theme is doing bad things and loading jquery ui from google instead of using the wp version... and its much older than the version wp ships with... additionally, the wp jquery ui is loaded too so the two differing versions are almost certainly conflicting...

find where the theme hard loads that google jquery ui and replace it with the standard wp one...
