Support Forum
Hi -
I am returning to this topic as I am finally getting back to set up the forum properly on our site.
I have a similar question as the other poster in this thread: I can get the forum to show up but it's above the header info that normally shows on the member pages.
In OptimizePress 2 the header (navigation bar and logo, etc.) is apparently NOT handled using the WordPress header code - it is simply part of the page contents (within the loop). For this reason, the forum shows up on the page ABOVE the header, since the OP2 header is actually part of the page container.
Instead of inserting the Forum on a page using the built-in Integration settings, which place it above what should be the Header and Navigation menu, it would be helpful if one could "call" the Forum using a shortcode, so it could then be placed under the "header" graphics and menu, and above the footer.
See my screenshot for how this looks on my site. The URL currently for this forum page is:

first, go to forum - tools - integration and check the settings for display in loop (try true) and display multiple (false)...
if optimizepress is one of those really quirky themes (we do have several users using it - search for some other potential workarounds), on the same page you could bypass the wp_head action that standard themes do...
and lastly, you could try setting the strict api option...
certainly one of those should work since as I said, we have multiple users using optimizepress and simple press together just fine...

outstanding! no such thing as standard in wp land! hence we have those options to try to cater to all... thanks for the update...
