I doubt they would be an issue but if you are willing to try that for testing then it would obviously be useful data to have.

Well I have tried deactivating them and it didn't help. It has been a nightmare tonight. Every time I started to write it crashed.

can you try the default wp theme and see if same? at least we can try to narrow down the js conflict...

I have switched the theme, but I'm struggling to extend my forum over a full screen. But so fair I have posted several times on my forum from my iPad and everything is working so far. I'm going to try and workout how to get my forum fully on the page.
I will let you know how I get on. But maybe we have found the fault..

Yes - as i said, you're theme looks good and clean. I don't think there is a prolem in that department.
I am using my iPad to write this by the way and will try answering more posts this morning. So far though i am not having any problems...

I find it to be so random, last night it crashed everytime I tried to post and then it went ok for a while...very strange. I've now reverted to typing what I want to say in a note app and copy and pasting where I want it...lol

Can i assume that this is with the plain text editor?
It should be if things are working correctly but i thought it worth checking...
Again - writing this on my iPad and still no issues...

I'm using the Tiny MCE, I did deactiate it and it still did it.

You are getting tinyMCE on the ipad?
Have you removed it from the list of mobiles because anything in that list, if the agent, should force the use of the plain text editor on any mobile.
TinyMCE will not work correctly on any mobile platform yet as I understand it) because none of the mobile browsers yet completely support the 'contentEdited' protocols. We re-tested this out just a couple of weeks ago.
