Yes - we have all 3 plugin installed. The point is that if SP finds the agent is a mobile it is supposed to automatically force the plain text editor on the mobile session, This happens for me so I am curious why not for you as well. It does this by using the list in the admin > mobile panel.
We currently have these SP plugins active:
Admin Bar (1.0.12)
Blog Post Linking (1.0.12)
Captcha (1.0.6)
Editor (QuickTags - BBCode) (1.0.3)
Editor (QuickTags - HTML) (1.0.2)
Editor (TinyMCE - Rich Text) (1.0.3)
File Uploader (using Plupload) (1.0.7)
Font Resizer (1.0.2)
Google XML Sitemap (1.0.2)
Gravatar Cache (1.0.3)
Policy Documents (1.0.8)
Private Message System (1.0.16)
Profanity Filter (1.0.3)

if its not doing mobile for you, please tell us what user-agent string your ipad is generating... do you still have the default user agent strings on forum - components - mobile?

It is doing it for me. Thanks for the list. I've not got all the plugins installed. The only thing I have different is the smileys. But I can't see it being them surely. Before the upgrade I could click on the smileys and they didn't work but since i upgraded I can.
Smileys? They are not a plugin...?
I am confused here. The question is why do you get offered the tinyMCE editor when you should not be. Steve asked if you knew what user agent was being used on your iPad. But also can you tell us if 'iPad' is in the mobile touch agents list on the mobile panel under forum components?
