If you want to give me a link I can try your site on my iPad if guests can post.
And - good question - are you using your iPad to write posts ion this site?

I haven't tried accessing you site via my phone but I'll spend a few minutes now wandering around the forums here and see if anything happens

I have opened the site up a little to see if it happens to you.  You can post a test post if  you would like to on one of the boards and see what happens.

I've reverted back to my laptop now.

I've even tried Mercury and Skyfire browsers and the same thing happened.

Juts took a look and there is not much point in me even trying as that comes up with the tinyMCE editor and as we have discussed that will not yet work on mobile devices due to browser problems.

It seems to me that the REAL question that this thread should be focusing on is why your site delivers the TinyMCE editor on mobile devices. I will take a look at the code.

Can you copy and paste here the contents of the touch devices user agent list in the admin components mobile panel...

No that is so strange because when I go to do a reply to a post, I just get the reply box and no editing functions on my ipad, I've just had a look.  I get my smileys and the upload attachments button.  That is very strange indeed.  Or am I looking at it wrong.

I'm really really sorry to be such a pain.

I don't know what you mean by 'no editing functions'.
And can you send the list?

What I mean is I have no Bold, Italic etc bar above the input area.  Which I believe is the Tiny MCE editor.  See screenshot taken from my Ipad.
