Hi,

I have a couple of post that are pinned with static information that I would like to update. In the past I just deleted the old one and started a new post.

Is it possible to just edit the date?

Thanks!

It appears not. And I am surprised because I really thought we had done that a long time back. The best I can offer is that I will open a ticket on it and it will make it's way into the core at some point.

Of course - if it is a pinned post then it will always stay at the top regardless of the date. And you could change the date directly in the database table - but I also understand why most people wouldn't want to do that.

Sorry it is missing from the 'toolkit'. I will go straight to out tracker and raise the issue.

ticket is open... just to reiterate, it will not change the order of posts in tickets... for efficiency, that is done by post id which at post creation is the same as date ordered - only very much more efficient...
