in the css styles file for the sp theme...

Ok, I found it. When I input: border-left: 1px solid #8B1A1A; Do I add anything else with it? I tried it but it didn't put a border on the left side.
Also I changed #spMainContainer .spAuthorArrow { position: relative; right: 33px; top: 22px;} I replaced 33px with 25. I did change avatar sizes to 75px for now. At least the arrow is showing.
Please check my website again. I left my custom theme on. How do I properly input border-left: 1px solid #8B1A1A? Just like that or do I have to add something to it so it can take effect?
Robb,
I took a quick look it appears you added the border-left to #spMainContainer .spTopicPostSection.spOdd (and spEven) not to #spMainContainer .spTopicPostSection.spOdd .spPostSection (and spEven)
You do have it right it's border-left: 1px solid #8B1A1A; Once there it takes affect immediately.
Also change back the 25px on the arrow to 33px.
Sure there is a way.
Before doing anything though. Do you have the new Post Preview plugin installed and activated?
If so can you deactivate it and look at the forum topics page and see if that 'red line' still is too short or any other layout issues looks different?
We first need to figure out why the top red line does not go all the way across. If you notice not only isn't it all the way across the content under it isn't either.
One more test, if you would, so I can see if there may a larger issue that needs to be checked.
Go into your Forum Admin >Options - Content Settings and turn off "Use text wrap width for posts"
Save, log out of WP, clear your browsers cache and then look at the forum post's red line and content and let us know if full width.
