Is there a way to lock one topic thread?

I like to do live events in the forum, after the event I like to lock the thread/topic post. Is there a way to do this?

There are two ways. As I am writing this reply, below the edit window and above the submit button are a group of options. One of them is to lock the topic. You can use this while making any reply and it will lock the topic after that.

The other is using the forum tools from the topic listing.
