Hi there,

Is there, or will there eventually be an easy way to upload photos to posts using a mobile device?

that would be our file uploader plugin...  works on all mobile devices except for ios and safari due to safari lack of support of standards... but can pass along we have come up with a workaround for the safari shortcomings and it will be re-enabled in next version due out in about a week...

I'm using File Uploader with Plupload and I can't figure out how to upload images with a mobile device in FireFox. I apologize in advance for needing some guidance on how this is done but it's not intuitive.

From a mobile device, there's no way to drag files into the Select files window, and the Add Files button does nothing.

Am I using the right file uploader plugin? You guys have just one, right?

As I mentioned above, the Add File button is non-responsive.

Yes, we have just one file uploader plugin. Does it work fine on desktop?

What browser are you using on mobile? Does it work in a different browser?

A non-responsive button is usually down to a js conflict of some kind. If it works fine on desktop then is it possible you're running some kind of plugin that is mobile specific that could be interfering?

Works fine on desktop. For mobile, I discovered I wasn't using the Add Files button correctly. It works but I have a question:

When uploading photos from mobile, is there any way to reduce the size of the photo once it's uploaded to a pre-published post? Everything is gigantic.

Let's step back and look at the theme issues first. What SP theme are you using for mobile? And... is your WP theme fully mobile responsive as this is really needed for things to work and scale properly.

My WordPress theme is called, Admired. This is not a responsive theme by design, which is why I have to use the WP plugin called, WPTouch Mobile Plugin.

My SP theme is called, Default 1.2.20

Sonia it's not responsive it mayand like is driving the image size.  Simple press mobile responsive themes work with responsive wp themes.  WP touch enhances mobile but doesn't make it responsive.

How do images in blog posts look?

Do.you have url to example? So we can inspect the css for sure what is driving it.
