I have been using the forum for more than two years.  I sometimes get one person that comes in and posts on six or eight threads, and then my front page is dominated by that person's avatar over and over (and over six more times).  I was thinking it would be nice if there was a widget that listed the last six or eight posters rather than the last six or eight posts to the forum.
 

Does anything exist that does that?

 

I see all of your Template Tags.  Can those be integrated into a widget?

no, something like that does not exist... though you should be able to change the current functionality with a couple edits to do the same thing...
