 Hello,

I encountered a problem which may be of interest for future updates of the plugin. My forum is in Italian and in Italian we have several words ending with accentat the end... I was changing the title of a topic and also changed the URL. Then the post would not appear anymore! Then I realised I put in the URL the word with the accent (in this case it was "giovedì"), I edited again to "giovedi" and it all worked again.
Wouldn't be nicer if either the bow for the URL wouldn't accept special letters, or it gave a warning or, as for the WP slug, it would just change it into someting acceptable for a URL?

This is not an issue for me, only food for thoughts 😉

My forum (in Italian) is: MsPforum

The slug for the URL is actually parsed through the WordPress core routine which, as you say, should have picked it up and changed it. I am not aware of any recent changes to the WP routine but I will look into it to see if I can spot anything different.

Thanks for the information - it is appreciated.
